Explicit Memory

The brain is the most complex organ in our body. Even its appearance says it all. As we all know, one of its functions is to store out memories. There are many types of memories. One of them is called as explicit memory. It's whereby you collect memories that you've gained throughout your life while being conscious. For example, remembering your driving lessons while driving a car.

For some normal people, to retrieve that precious memories, it requires hard works. Things that you can do to improvise is by doing things that enable you to remember better. I'd say it's a bit cliche but going through photo albums, reading letters, watching videos that were made previously could help a lot. But as I said, it sounds a little cheesy.

Somehow, mine isn't that good. I bet everyone of us has experienced that one time when you almost remembered that one simple thing but turned out it's just a false alarm. And sadly, you actually remember nothing. Which is always absolutely depressing.

Maybe if our brains are like computers life would be so much better. In exams, nobody will get an F. In spelling bee competition, it's a very tough decision to make for the judges. In the Guinness World Records, well how should I say this. Well, it's just mind blowing.

Maybe that's the reason why only some of us are blessed with that trait. So that life is never going to be perfect. Or so that the book of world records wouldn't be as thick as the earth's core. Or maybe that's the 'fun' that everybody else is missing out.  Or maybe I should learn how to improve my long term memory. Or I just don't know how to write about this anymore.
