Long Hiatus

It has been really a while since I last wrote about anything on this blog. You can consider 'lazy' as the number one culprit in this case. I have to admit that since I started working, I've always been occupied with work related stuff, physically and emotionally. But I would say that it's a big lie when all the time that I have in life, I spent on thinking about my work. Nope. I know very well that I am not that hardworking. One thing for sure, I noticed myself got caught into emotional affair with my work, the love-hate-relationship game is very strong in this arena. Sometimes too strong that it made me rethink about some of my decisions that I made in life. (If you get what I mean)

Anyway, I went to Bon Odori last night with my sister since she insisted me to go with her, pfft clingy sister I know. One word for it - awesome! I am definitely going to the next year's and I am going to make sure that I'll apply leave on that particular day just to attend the event. Oh, not to forget, I think I need to get myself a pair of yukata for myself too! And that cute japanese umbrella too.

Once Upon A Dream

Frankly speaking, I had abandoned my dearest blog for almost a year now. I'm not sure what made me to decide not to blog anymore. I'm pretty sure it was not my fault. Haha.

So, a quick catch up about me, I have started working. Currently I am residing in Seri Manjung, Perak. I've been travelling from Manjung to Kuala Lumpur frequently lately. Work has been hectic as expected. To get scolded and cursed everyday is part and parcel of my current job. Most of the time I feel incompetent and not confident and obviously, I know that I need to brush up that side of me gradually.

And yup, that sums up what had happened in my life so far. Other than that, I'll write up in another post.

Rusty Contemplation

The letter for my induction course had safely came to me a few days ago. So from 21st till 25th October, I'll be spending my days and nights in D'Village Resort in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. And nope, it isn't meant for some heavenly getaway but merely the course that we ought to attend before embarking the working life in the hospital.

Even though the thought of it had given me some series of palpitations, I can still amazingly sleep well when I thought that the letter will only bring me sleepless nights. So anyway, there's so many things to do and I still haven't started packing anything yet. I don't where to start, or in other words, the dreadful winter is coming.

I pray that the Almighty will ease upon the road that I'm about to embark. Ameen.

Cake Galore

For my sister's birthday, on 11th October 2013, my mom and my 3rd sister made her a blueberry cheesecake. Topped with the sweet sugary biscuits that you always had back then when you were little. Looks pretty isn't it?

And it was my birthday yesterday. We had some home cooked spaghetti and my parents bought me a white chocolate macadamia cake from Secret Recipe. 

I am really grateful for my parents and my family. They are my everything. And I still can't believe that number 25. Okay, bye!

Happy Birthday!

Big shout out to my sister who turns 22 this year! Time flies so fast, I can't even believe that it's 2013 already. Anyway, our birth dates are only a couple of days apart. Back then when we were little, my Opah was so eager to throw a birthday party for both of us. Usually it will be a combine birthday party of mine and my sister's. Then we get to invite our friends and neighbor to join. Well, it wasn't really a big, fancy, themed party with clowns etc. Just a casual high tea I guess with a big fat cake since we had to share. Haha. Sadly, there's no more birthday parties for my 2nd sister, younger brother or even for my little brother. Pity them. Lol.

I just had to put up this picture since my mom complimented on how I cute I was when I was little. Ehem! Haha. I'm not even sure myself how I came to know how to pose so much.

Knock Knock

Who's there? Well if you haven't noticed yet, October's already here. I can't believe that time flies that fast! It seems like yesterday was only the new year and now it's already the 10th month of the year. In a couple of months, 2014 will knock on our doors. Which makes me reminisce to what I've achieved through out the year 2013. Hmm.

Anyway, I've been caught up with Game of Thrones lately. Despite the cruelty, ruthlessness and violence, I've got to admit that the story line intrigues me. Which also made me crave to read the real book. I  will always have a thing which those stories that had been made based on a book except for Twilight, obviously. Usually the story in the book is much better than what has been made into movies/series. That's when reading the actual book assist you with your own opinion whether it's good, so-so, or bad.

By the way, my mom baked a simple butter cake yesterday. The marble pattern on the cake turned out quite exquisite though. You know my mom, she's a great cook. Haha, pardon me with the narcissism.

Down With Dengue Part II

As I said before, I went to a wedding the day before I was admitted to the hospital. So here's some pictures from the wedding. The day that I was so sure that going to the hospital wasn't even an option since the beginning. Haha.
